NPM 2018-2019 Summer Internships Open

  • 6 September 2018

For students interested in getting some real research experience, and working with senior NPM researchers over the coming 2018-2019 summer, our internship programme is intended to provide experience and support for Māori students wanting to pursue a career in research.

Selected Interns will work under the direction and guidance of an NPM Investigator on a research project aligned to our research themes and programme.

At least twenty internships will be available for the period December 2018 through to the end of February 2019. Find out more here.

This opportunity is open to Māori pre-doctoral students who are genuinely interested in advancing their skills and capacity in Indigenous research. You can be an upper level undergraduate, post-graduate, enrolled in a Master’s programme but cannot already have a PhD.

The internship stipend of $5,500 will be paid directly to the interns in installments.
